The challenge

The primary objectives as the Head of Content are to drive strategy and execution for content on the Adobe Stock marketplace business.

 

This senior leader will be responsible for defining and executing our strategy -which assets to acquire from which sources and how, and grow the Adobe Stock topline, elevate the product quality and the Adobe Stock brand perception. This person source assets directly integrated into the Creative Cloud (CC) applications to enhance their value for the benefit of CC users, in complement to their commercial value in the Stock marketplace. These responsibilities span across multiple geographies, all main creative asset types including but not limited to photos, vectors, videos, templates, music, all subject matters and all kinds of content sources like UGC, crowdsourcing and large partners.

 

This person will be directly in charge of executing the strategy in a data and KPI driven environment, while partnering closely with the Adobe Stock product management and product marketing leaders and teams.

 

Adobe Stock mission is to offer all creatives access to all the creative content and asset types they might need to be successful in their creative projects, industries and company sizes. As part of Adobe, elevating the quality of the Stock content we offer will be a key objective, while still keeping it accessible and affordable for most users and effectively compensating production artists.

 

This leader will manage a team of 40+ seasoned stock experts covering BD, artists relations, crowdsourcing and creative services.

 

What you’ll do

  • Drive Adobe Stock marketplace business content strategy
  • Execute that strategy across acquisition through crowdsourcing or partnerships, ingestion, curation of content
  • Define and drive acquisition plans for each asset type to meet customer demand across the various segments, offerings and geographies.
  • Based on a combination of data insights and customer affinity, understand customer needs in terms of quality, subject matters, styles, diversity, etc. for the main asset types in order to drive acquisition plans and help train the search algorithms
  • Drive the use and meet the needs for content in all Creative Cloud applications and services
  • Manage a team of business development and creative professionals that will help with the acquisition, management and curation of content
  • Manage and protect the relationships of Adobe with the Content community and ecosystem.

 

What you need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in consumer web and/or Digital Media or Digital creativity businesses or advertising
  • Dual profile with effective data driven business skills combined with strong affinity for creativity and creatives
  • Proven track record of functional excellence around strategy, operations and business development
