Rooster Teeth is looking for an experienced Layout Producer who will enable the effective execution of projects against our creative needs, business strategies, budget, schedule, and initiatives. You will be expected to handle multiple projects and take responsibility for ensuring the timeliness and excellence of all works delivered.

You will effectively lead teams and projects through production using excellent leadership skills, collaboration, and organization.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a layout or previz department.

Responsibilities:

• Create intricate breakdowns of projects as a means of scheduling production of layout, cinematics, storyboards, and crowd simulations.
• Acquire new talent and assets, within the department’s means, to create a highly efficient team and hit deadlines.
• Focus on employee quality of life while facilitating the production’s success.
• Work with Cinematographers and Executive Producers to prepare and vet budgets and schedules.
• Maintain a balance between creative freedom and logistical constraints.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience producing for animation, having worked with medium and high budget studios creating major network series or films.
• Degree in Broadcast, Media or Production-related field, or equivalent professional experience required.
• Team-player who excels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Understand how to prioritize and respond accordingly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as an ability to multi-task.
• Passion for film, video, and animation, as well as new technologies and trends.
• Experience in managing budgets.
