The multiplayer team is growing, and we’re looking for a leader to manage our technical writing team to help us ensure the next generation of multiplayer developers is fully supported across multiple platforms.

Join an existing team as part of the Multiplayer Technology Group. Collaborating with our NetCode engineering teams to produce high-quality documentation that simplifies, explains, and empowers our users to start building multiplayer games. This will include a mix of writing from scratch, revising draft documents supplied by developers, and overhauling legacy content.

You will be part of an exciting time as Unity expands our multiplayer solutions, the documentation is a crucial area of our product offering and will help to empower creators on cutting edge technology.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and lead a team of Technical Writers of Multiplayer
  • Writing documentation Multiplayer engine features – this includes both scripting API documentation and user manual content
  • Gathering, editing, and publishing subject-specific knowledge from subject matter experts and developers
  • Supporting development teams to deliver high-quality technical content

Requirements

  • Impeccable standard of written and spoken English
  • Experience working as a technical writer
  • Experience developing multiplayer games
  • Experience with C#

Bonus Points

  • Experience with other Game Engines
  • Additional written and spoken languages
