Position Overview:
We have an exciting career opportunity to support the rapid growth of our Marketing team in Austin, TX! Reporting to the Photography Manager, this person will partner with the photography and Creative Services teams to assist in all aspects of the development and execution of projects related to Marketing. This role combines strong organizational duties, extraordinary initiative and an eagerness to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
• Work directly with Photography Manager, In-house Photographer and Videographer
• Support and assist in-studio photography needs
• Digital File management for creative services and e-commerce teams
• Assist photo team with production of photo shoots: preparation, prop sourcing, scheduling, organizing product, equipment handling etc.
• Retouching images
• Help maintain studio and wide range of product
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Photo research and creative collaboration
• Company Event photography assistance
• Opportunity to assist on location assignments
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
• Comfortable working on a team and collaborating with creative professionals
• Strong comprehension of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office programs
• Experienced with Capture One and Photoshop for retouching and file management
• Bachelors degree (or higher) in related photography field
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience (or similar experience as an intern or work-study)
• Creative and distinctive photo portfolio
• Knowledgeable in lighting set ups and professional photography equipment
• Up-beat, inquisitive and positive personality
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic to learn new skills in photography
• Problem solver with great communication skills and attention to detail
