Rooster Teeth is looking for a Post-Production Assistant Video Editor for our Live Action division who can strategically piece together video content to tell a story and deliver a message. The individual will be responsible for seeing the bigger picture of all available footage and content in Post-Production, then craft together the best content for our Live Action team.

Responsibilities:

• Ingesting and organizing footage
• Creating assemblies and rough cuts as needed
• Sourcing SFX and music
• Creating cue sheets, exports, and archiving projects
• Working on-set/ on-location occasionally
• Preparing files for VFX, color, and audio
• Media managementTechnical troubleshooting
• Assisting editors and producers as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years demonstrated experience post-production, editing live action videos
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
• Knowledge of hardware and software required for video and audio format conversion and compression
• Must have an understanding of video file formats, video analysis and metadata
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills including specific editing workflows
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment & accept feedback/notes on work
• Desire to further improve skills and techniques
• Strong will and self-motivation to take on projects and complete tasks on time
• Familiarity with Final Cut Pro X and DaVinci Resolve a plus
