THE ROLE:

FloSports is looking for a Senior Broadcast Production Manager to oversee the planning and execution of our Live Event productions. This role is responsible for delivering the highest quality live streams across multiple verticals as well as providing the day-to-day management and ongoing development of the Live Production team’s technologies, people, processes and systems. The ideal candidate will have proven success building and growing a high performing team of skilled producers, deep knowledge of the entire live production lifecycle, and a passion for elevating the quality of live event broadcasts.

This role requires the ability to travel up to 40% and work on evenings/weekends/holidays. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a team of Producers, overseeing the quality and execution of Live Production Broadcasts
  • Proactively mitigate and manage escalations; communicate effectively and appropriately with stakeholders
  • Build, manage and improve departmental processes and documentation for every stage of the production lifecycle from planning to retrospectives
  • Review and provide clear and actionable feedback for your team on their live streams
  • Identify and create seasonal storylines
  • Ensure consistency in branding across streams
  • Manage and oversee the production planning details, schedules, timelines and overall event documentation
  • Ensure live productions deliverables are met on time and within budget
  • Help troubleshoot escalated technology issues and production problems logically, calmly and efficiently
  • Help to build and nurture working relationships with partners, vendors, contingent crew members and other event stakeholders
  • Perform other duties, projects and responsibilities as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • 2+ years people management experience
  • 7+ Years proven experience producing events in a live streaming environment (preferably sports)
  • Must be willing to work weekends and travel for productions, including weekends and holidays
  • Work from Austin preferred
  • Knowledgeable about Salesforce is a plus
  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to lead, execute and deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Process driven and detail oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
