Vrbo is seeking a Video Content Producer to join our Creative Dept. team and help grow our video content creation efforts. The Vrbo video team is looking to amplify and expand our video creation efforts in order to effectively engage at multiple consumer touchpoints and then scale that content at a global level. This includes videos across many channels and categories including broadcast, digital, social, paid social as well internal communications for our company.

As Video Content Producer, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the production process for many types of projects. You’ll organize and coordinate all the moving parts of development to ensure the process is running smoothly so the team can get their work done. Along the way you’ll ensure creative vision and business expectations coalesce into success.

Your role will involve video output by our internal creative team, in-house production partners, UGC content from contributors, onsite and remote contractors, external production vendors and agencies.

About the Creative Department
The Creative Department is an international, multi-disciplinary group of creatives with a deep curiosity about the world and an undeniable passion for travel. What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day production for multiple video projects with expert level management of timelines, budgets, deliverables, goals and communication with internal team members and external partners.

  • Work collaboratively and proactively with internal creative team, internal stakeholders and external vendors to assess project requirements and ensure efficient development and delivery of content.

  • Create and manage project plans with long- and short-term milestones, with an understanding of prioritization of resources and tasks.

  • Establish a rolodex of external production partners and content capture resources that we can leverage as needed.

  • Help us become a content creation engine by fine-tuning our internal production processes in collaboration with our internal Creative Project Management team and Creative Leadership team.

  • Be a partner and advocate for the whole team, making sure every idea is noted, every meeting is supported, and expectations are clear.

  • Help drive content organization and advocate the importance of file structure, clear labeling, archiving of RAW footage, etc.

Who You Are

Skills & Requirements

  • Expert understanding of digital production processes and delivery including media plans, file specifications, digital platforms and tools.

  • Experience managing and delivering social assets to external partners and media teams with knowledge of proper file formats and technology.

  • Author and manage detailed documentation including productions bids, RFP statements of work, functional and business requirements and technical specifications.

  • Experience creating schedules, managing SOW processes, billing, determining resources, estimating time, tracking costs and identifying project completion requirements.

  • Ability to anticipate and effectively mitigate problems; and consistently communicate to stakeholders about updates on progress, process, relevant delays or issues and budget implications.

  • Strong knowledge of project management software and Agile methodology with the ability to manage production work flow within an Agile/Scrum framework.

  • Strong written and oral presentation skills, negotiation skills and the ability to be client facing

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

  • 5+ years of experience working within a video production agency, studio or broadcast environment.
