What You'll Do

Sprinklr is looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our Corporate Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Global Messaging and Copy, you’ll play a pivotal role in producing short-form messaging that shares our unique brand story in consistent, memorable, and persuasive fashion across a broad spectrum of mediums. Your efforts will help to feed our demand generation engine; support product and field marketing initiatives; and work hand-in-hand with our content marketing and creative strategy teams to evangelize Sprinklr to a global corporate audience. 

We operate in a pod structure in an Agile Marketing setting, so the ability to learn, absorb, and execute quickly on an evolving list of deliverables – without sacrificing exceptional quality or the ability to meet aggressive deadlines – is essential. The capacity to operate both independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team (and maintain a healthy sense of humor throughout) is a must.

What You’ll Be Responsible for:

  • Building a deep understanding of the Sprinklr platform and products, and the company’s unique differentiators
  • Working with Marketing leaders to understand and execute on our evolving brand voice and tone
  • Understand the customer journey — and use that knowledge to create the most impactful top, middle, and bottom-of-the funnel assets for different products, personas, and verticals. 
  • Knowing what best-in-class content and creative looks like for both SaaS companies and category creators, and bringing your ideas to help Sprinklr innovate and exceed the standard of excellence
  • Mastering the Sprinklr platform in order to create data-driven assets that support thought leadership and product-oriented marketing streams
  • Collaborating with our content marketing team to ensure that all digital marketing assets that support their long-form content are as impactful as possible
  • Creating emails, website copy, infographic content, video scripts, and interactive assets in support of our content and agile marketing strategies 
  • Interpreting our SEO goals and strategy to produce messaging optimized for maximum effect 
  • Understanding the verticals we’re targeting, and demonstrating the flexibility to adapt our work to meet any unique, localized messaging needs (and/or writing with translations requirements in mind; e.g. emphasizing clarity over cleverness) 

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • A demonstrated fluency in storytelling and innate love of messaging strategy — looking beyond the quick quip or turn of phrase to tell a meaningful brand story capable of resonate with sophisticated audiences on multiple levels
  • A demonstrated ability to engage with and persuade audiences to take action 
  • Significant experience creating digital ads for LinkedIn, Facebook and display, powered by a need to understand what’s performing and what isn’t — and iterate accordingly
  • A deep curiosity and drive to master new subject areas in order to produce work that resonates with authenticity and humanity
  • Flexibility and a willingness to pitch in on writing projects that may not fall strictly within your job description
  • A profoundly collaborative mindset and approach to work, especially as we continue to develop and define our team structure — and roles are somewhat fluid 
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where unexpected challenges and opportunities are commonplace
  • An openness to constructive feedback from smart, opinionated stakeholders — and the ability to shift gears quickly to translate that feedback into rapid iteration and effective results
  • Did we mention a sense of humor? A sense of humor.

What Makes You Qualified

  • BA in English or related area with a pronounced emphasis on writing
  • 7+ years of in-house or agency experience in a writing role; multiple years of experience writing for B2B and/or rapid-growth social, SaaS, or technology companies is highly preferred  
  • High-quality portfolio is a must — show us your ability to persuade audiences and tell a brand or product story persuasively
  • A proven ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues in marketing and across all corporate functions at all levels
