Literati is looking for a writer with an experimental mindset, always looking to learn and iterate and improve on an idea to ultimately build revolutionary excitement in literature.

What You'll Do...

  • Work directly with the internal creative and performance teams to create compelling ads that drive conversion, sign up, and retention.
  • Pitch and brainstorm ad/branding ideas that propel the brand into the stratosphere.
  • Seek out new opportunities to expand our reach on new platforms, creating compelling, channel-specific ideas and messages.
  • Collaborate with external creative partners to ensure they produce content that, well, we would.

Who You Are...

  • A writer who thrives on the challenge of creating ads that actually deliver performance.
  • Someone who takes it personally (in the right way), who wants to figure why something did/didn't resonate… and go at it again.
  • A writer who is super familiar with direct response marketing and/or a subscription-based business models.
  • An awareness of trends in culture, in particular the digital space, and a desire to take risks and experiment with new and unique ways a brand shows up in the world.
  • Someone who is self-motivated and able to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

What You Need...

  • Strong communication skills and an encouraging, team-focused attitude.
  • 2+ years of experience flexing your brand voice muscles

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

You do the work, so you deserve the rest. Your individual work-life balance will vary based on the team that you work with, but in Customer Support, our associates can expect to regularly have a 40-hour work week and be paid time-and-a-half for extra hours worked. We also have regularly scheduled work-from-home hours!

What unique initiatives do you have that encourage innovation?

One thing I love from my time at Google was "20% time" which allows people to spend up to one day a week working on a passion project that doesn't necessarily tie into the roadmap. Just eliminating all process and approval is a critical first step. Innovation looks absurd out the gate.
