We’re looking for someone with a passion for distilling data into information that’s organized and written in a way that’s meaningful and accessible to the intended audience. If you’ve got a knack for using words (and images) to make complex concepts seem simpler and a desire to apply your skills to help others navigate cloud-based tools, consider joining our documentation team. Our mission is to provide our users the information they need to be successful.

To accomplish this, we create documentation to support IT administrators, system integrators, and business users as they navigate our products to accomplish the tasks they need to do, whether that involves initial installation and setup, ongoing system configuration, or managing access to cloud resources. We also contribute to the overall usability of customer workflows by performing some initial product testing and ensuring in-app messages and labels are clear and succinct.

In the process of creating content for our identity management customers, you’ll work with members of several other teams: Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI design, Professional Services, and Support. You’ll need to demonstrate initiative and be willing to dig for answers while cultivating these important relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with PM & Engineering to ensure an accurate understanding of the product/feature
• Work closely with other writers to assess what’s needed and your role in providing it
• Solicit stakeholder reviews and perform editorial reviews of content produced by others
• Verify accuracy of documentation prior to publishing, and maintain it as needed
• Follow prescribed processes to track progress and notify others of obstacles to timely delivery

Requirements:

• Proven proficiency in writing, backed by a degree in English or a related field
• Planning & time management skills required to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines
• A growth mindset, coupled with the curiosity to learn how to use unfamiliar technology
• Detail oriented, to help us create & maintain consistency across products and documentation
• Ability to work in an environment with quick turnaround times for publishing updated online
