We're looking for an extraordinary Technical Writer to join our Customer Experience team. Technical Writers at PlayVS deliver innovative and engaging content while working both independently and collaboratively as part of cross functional teams. The position researches details about our product, services, or incoming player contacts to be documented and easily understood by a broad audience.
Here's what you'll get to do:
*Create, research, outline, write, curate, edit and manage our knowledge base of content for both internal and external audiences
*Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allow for easy data migration
*Write with a consistent and cohesive style across all documentation
*Proactively seek out and diagnose content that is written poorly or may cause confusion amongst internal and external users
*Audit and create content with in a user-centric manner; ensuring a simple, clear, and clean message is communicated
Here's what we're looking for:
*3-5 years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer
*Proven ability to absorb new information quickly
*Ability to autonomously break apart complex topics and simplify them
*Previous experience writing documentation and user flow materials for multiple audiences
*Superior written and verbal communication skills
*Extremely detail oriented, you notice mistakes and errors when others may miss them
*Extensive previous experience with the Google Suite
Bonus Points for:
*Experience creating style guides for multiple editors
*Experience with Salesforce, Notion, or Intercom
*Experience with Knowledge Centered Support
*Excitement regarding process improvements
*Passion for esports, education technology
*Startup Experience
