Position Overview:
This Temporary Junior level Copywriter position is a member of the Marketing and Creative Services
teams, and reports directly to the Senior Copywriter & Content Strategist. Our ideal
candidate is a strong writer and idea generator with a collaborative attitude, as well as a
detail-oriented and organized individual capable of maintaining processes and procedures
at a fast-growing company. In this role, good project management skills and the ability to
respond quickly to last minute changes at a fast pace are required.
Responsibilities:
Digital Content
• Create Content and manage execution for all emails, website copy, social and blog content, and SEO initiatives
• Manage relationship with digital agency, overseeing execution of SEO content
• Partner with Social Media team to develop and execute a strategic editorial calendar for the blog
• Collaborate with Ecommerce team to create engaging and effective digital ad campaigns, target email segments, and more
Retail, Wholesale, & Events Content
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising team to develop in-store collateral for all collections, campaigns, promotions, and other marketing initiatives
• Create content for printed collateral such as catalogs and web inserts, setting the creative tone for each season
• Create content for the Wholesale team, including market materials, catalogs, emails, and in-store collateral
• Collaborate with Technical Development team to develop Product Knowledge for each season, creating engaging and informative content around materials and design techniques
• Create content for field and event materials, including retail training docs, invitations, signage, and more
Miscellaneous
• Create monthly Scoop newsletter, managing content collection and creation, as well as partnering with a graphic designer on layout and design
• Proof all written content and attend press checks as needed
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in writing or marketing
• 1+ years’ experience as a copywriter for a high-growth company
• A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery
• General understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign
• Thorough knowledge of writing principles
• Ability to write concise, engaging content that adheres to brand guidelines for tone and voice, using best practices for each given channel
• Must be exceptionally organized, self-motivated, deadline-oriented, receptive to feedback and an effective communicator
• Must be a continual student of your craft and share your insights and ideas with others across the company
• A strong ability to build relationship with co-workers and keep others informed
• A growth mindset: desire to learn, grow and embrace new ideas
