RetailMeNot is growing our in-house video production and is now looking for a Video Production Assistant to join our Marketing team at our headquarters in beautiful downtown Austin. This is an entry-level position that will allow you to grow your skill set in video, photo editing and content marketing. This role will assist the Creative team in producing and editing multiple types of videos (online, social, internal) for the awesome RetailMeNot brand. 

Who You Are:

• You have a degree in Film, Video Production or 1-2 years of experience in a related field
• You have experience with planning, researching, scripting, storyboarding, shooting, project management and editing of videos (Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production)
• You are proficient in video editing software (Adobe Products)
• You are comfortable interacting with/giving and taking directions to/from others
• You are able to operate and learn or have working knowledge of various lighting/audio/camera equipment
• You are a team player and able to work under tight deadlines on multiple projects
• You are able to collaborate, concept and brainstorm with other Creative team members
• You have excellent organizational and time-management skills
• You are able to adapt quickly and also have the willingness to learn
• Animation experience is a plus but not required

What You'll Do:

• You will assist in the Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production of various types of video projects, which can include but are not limited to:
• Bi-monthly online video series
• Product-promotional videos
• Facebook Live Broadcasts
• Online ads
• Videos for Social Media
• Internal training videos
• You will meet with various stakeholders to discuss projects and receive/implement feedback
• You will participate in collaboration/brainstorms with the Creative team
• You create with our customers in mind and our goal of helping people save money every single day
• You will stay on top of industry trends, research competitors and use our data to inform, iterate and optimize our videos
