Atmosphere is the first-of-its kind streaming portal containing original, owned and operated ambient TV channels. From the team that built and introduced CHIVE TV to thousands of businesses and homes worldwide, Atmosphere includes a variety of contoured audio-optional channels, updated regularly. While CHIVE TV remains a flagship channel, new channels such as Happy TV, Alpine TV, Motiv8 and many more have been curated to fit any vibe and integrate seamlessly into any environment, from bars and gyms to offices and waiting rooms.

We are looking for a Video Specialist for our newest channel, Newsroom TV. 

Candidate must have strong video instincts and be extremely competent with Adobe Premiere and the Adobe Creative Suite. Must be organized, efficient at managing your time across multiple projects, and focused on deadlines. This position will eventually manage a team of content curators, so desire to lead teams and train is key for this role. Things will move very fast in this position. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage in-house video library; uploading perpetually licensed content
• Curate (concept and deliver) 30 minutes of viral news video content per day
• Know how to story tell through videography, motion graphics and other creative techniques to build valuable content
• Collaborate with lead video editors of other Atmosphere channels to build creative concepts
• Ensure that the look and feel of Newsroom is consistent with all Atmosphere branding
• Bring leadership's ideas on Newsroom into reality
• Drive social media engagement across platforms
• Maintain Newsroom content library

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media, or broadcast
• 3-5 years of video editing experience
• Keen eye for detail and viral news content
• Proactive work ethic
• Interest in journalism or experience in newsroom
• Hungry, smart, and driven
• Ability to decipher leaderships concepts into reality
• Ability to bring new ideas to the table
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Efficient with Excel and Google Docs
• Excellent Communication skills
• Experience with Photoshop and Wordpress
• Experience with Premiere/After Effects
• Efficient with motion graphics
