The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs a Coordinator, Communications, you will support the day‑to‑day operation of many of Solventum’s key communications channels and platforms. This role is ideal for someone early in their communications career who is eager to learn, highly organized, and excited to collaborate across internal and external communications teams.
You will make an impact by:
- Supporting the execution of internal and external communications activities that help inform, engage and inspire employees and key audiences.
- Managing and maintaining core communications channels – including newsletters, intranet updates, email communications, Viva Engage posts, digital signage and other enterprise platforms – ensuring content is timely, accurate and aligned with Solventum’s voice.
- Assisting in the development and scheduling of editorial calendars, helping to organize content planning across the Communications & Brand team.
- Creating clear, concise and well‑structured content such as articles, leader messages, social copy, event materials and employee updates.
- Supporting cross‑functional partners by drafting, editing or uploading content and ensuring consistent messaging across touchpoints.
- Enabling public relations activities including monitoring news and social media, coordinating responses from news media, and facilitating content reviews.
- Tracking performance and engagement analytics across various channels to identify trends, highlight opportunities, and support data‑driven improvements.
- Helping coordinate town halls, employee events and communication moments by preparing materials, managing logistics, and supporting follow‑up actions.
- Collaborating closely with team members to streamline processes, maintain content libraries, and apply best practices that strengthen Solventum’s brand and communications effectiveness.
- Building relationships throughout the organization to stay informed on updates, activities and initiatives that should be elevated through enterprise communications.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed and verified prior to start).
- One (1) year of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, digital media—or equivalent internships, co‑ops or academic project experience.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills with an ability to tailor messages to different audiences and channels.
- Familiarity with common communications platforms (intranet, CMS tools, email platforms, social/digital channels) and interest in learning new technologies.
- Ability to organize multiple projects at once, manage deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
- Curiosity, collaboration and a growth mindset, with enthusiasm for learning from senior communicators and contributing fresh ideas.
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities and cross‑functional teams.
- Basic understanding of analytics, measurement or reporting tools—or interest in developing these skills.
- A proactive, positive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $73,600 - $101,200, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
