Role Summary: As a Data Analyst at our fast-paced fintech startup, you will play a crucial role in curating and maintaining our reporting ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide valuable insights, and support decision-making processes. With high attention to detail, our Data Analysts are responsible for maintaining inKind’s data integrity and ensuring continued trust in the organization’s reporting. Responsibilities/Essential Functions: 

  • Create, audit, and maintain dashboards within the inKind reporting ecosystem
  • Understand the flow of usage and develop optimizations to improve informational breadth, depth, and user experience
  • Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights using statistical methods and software tools
  • Identify and prepare for reporting gaps and develop strategies to capture and utilize untapped analysis
  • Collaborating with non-data driven stakeholders across the organization to translate their needs into actionable insights
  • Support the organization by prioritizing and efficiently responding to ad-hoc requests
  • Adhere to data governance and privacy policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Maintain a high level of data accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience working as a data/business analyst or related role
  • Proficiency with Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools
  • Fluency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL)
  • Proven capability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Python knowledge a plus, but not essential
  • Experience in restaurant industry

Work Environment:

  • The candidate in this position will be primarily located in an office environment and be exposed to lighting, temperature, and noise level conditions typical of that environment
  • This position is in-person, with an expectation of in-person work at the physical office location in Austin, Texas

Salary

  • $70,000 - $90,000, DOE
