The PositionWe are looking for our first data engineer to join the Digital Pharmacist engineering team. You will own all of the data infrastructure, the data lake/warehouse, ETL jobs, and help us architect data patterns to support our organization’s needs. We have large amounts of HIPAA related data that must be kept secure but is still needed to power business decisions/analytics as well as other customer facing systems. We are building tools that will utilize large sets of data to help improve medication adherence and promote patient health. We need a robust, comprehensive data architecture to be the backbone for this vision.
Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in CS, Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of ETL/data engineering work
• 3+ years of professional software engineering
• Experience working with Relational and noSQL databases
• Experience working with engineers and business analysts to solve data needs
• Experience working with a data pipeline and ETL jobs

Nice To Have

• Experience working with cloud infrastructure
• Experience with BigQuery, Redshift, Vertica, Cassandra or others 
• Experience with big data frameworks (Spark, EMR, etc)
• Experience consuming and building RESTful APIs
• Experience with Airflow, Luigi, Pinball or equivalent batch job managers
