What You’ll Be Doing

Having grown substantially in the last two years with no sign of slowing down, we are looking for an experienced Data Product Manager (Product Analyst) to support our product development team.  In this role, you’ll be the ultimate champion for data-informed decision-making and will work closely with stakeholders to analyze data and uncover actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analytics with a product mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify challenges and opportunities across our creator platform, working closely with Engineering to drive innovative solutions.
  • Build reports and dashboards using tools like Metabase and Omni to surface insights into platform growth, feature performance, and retention.
  • Partner with product managers and engineers to instrument clear analytics throughout our web and mobile apps. 
  • Drive the creation and analysis of product experiments including A/B tests, communicating results and recommendations to the product team.
  • Help stakeholders understand the business and product performance, presenting product analytics summaries across company-wide meetings.
  • Support stakeholders requests for BI reporting and analytics as requested (ops, finance, etc) that further support business decisions.

What You’ll Need

  • 3+ years of experience building intuitive and insightful data visualizations that drive impactful product decisions.
  • Expert skills in SQL and best-in-class data analysis tools and processes.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
  • An endlessly curious mindset to uncover growth levers and non-obvious insights.
  • Ability to identify and clearly articulate the story that the data is telling.
  • Strong product / UX sense, with a passion for helping creators grow their businesses.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and running experiments for digital products.
  • Experience working with Agile software development processes and tools.
  • Experience working with Amplitude or similar experimentation platforms.

Compensation:

This salary/OTE range represents the low, middle, and high end of the salary or OTE (Sales roles only) range for this position, and is subject to change. To determine starting pay we 

carefully consider various factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Salary/OTE is just one component of our total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for additional benefits and perks BeatStars has to offer.


Salary range for this position is $110,000-$125,000 USD. Must be based and able to work in the United States, Central/East Coast time zones preferred.
