Our Employee Experience team uses data to understand how talent engages with our company. We’re mapping the employee experience from candidate, to new hire, to employee, to alumni.

As the Analytics Business Partner for Employee Experience you would drive the data collection, measurement, organization, and analysis to inform our employee experience roadmap. You’ll coordinate data partners from People Analytics, People Insights & Engineering, People Operations and HR Technology to pull together data and analysis required to tell a cohesive story of the employee journey. This role works across the Employee Experience organization to inform data strategy for all team priorities as well as with cross-functional HR partners such as Internal Communications, People Products, People Growth, and Workplace Culture.

A person who would succeed in this role is someone who enjoys working with leadership to tell a story from the data. A critical attribute for someone in this role is the ability to navigate and partner across the world of PhD data scientists, HR program leaders, and line of business. This person will need to be fluent in data science.


Analytics Business Partner Responsibilities

  • Act as point person in the Employee Experience team for projects related to data collection and analysis

  • Lead measurement activities to pull together data informed employee journey maps that serve to inform prioritization in employee experience initiatives

  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and execute our talent decisions

  • Apply expertise in integrating qualitative UX research data into quantitative analysis to support comprehensive view of employee needs, motivations, expectations across different employee journeys

  • Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key business partners in collaboration with other members of the people analytics team

  • Investigate ways to measure and visualize existing processes for internal efficiency analysis and stakeholder communication

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders while balancing impact on business needs

  • Deliver analytical, survey or research results to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Leverage tools, such as SQL, Tableau, Workday, Visier, Salesforce and Excel to drive analytics and enable client self-service on routine queries

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BA/BS with 4+ or MA/MS with 3 + years of consulting or corporate work experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action and communicating analyses to technical and non-technical audiences

    • Experience in analytics, management consulting, sales operations, finance, compensation, or related fields

    • Knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., descriptive statistics and knowledge of statistical significance), quantitative research, qualitative research, and experience gathering and interpreting data

    • Project management experience with multiple stakeholders prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks

    • Experience engaging directly with enterprise-level clients and stakeholders

    • Experience in identifying multiple sources of customer/employee data for analysis and story telling

    • Experience working across various levels of an organization, while building trust and fostering collaboration

    • Knowledge of data visualization principles

    • Experience in SQL, data visualization tools, and Excel (complex formulas, pivots, macros, etc.)

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience working with HR or Customer Experience data

      • Experience working with teams developing customer/employee/user journey maps

      • Experience in HR analytics using HR systems and tools such as Workday, Visier, Salesforce etc.

      • Experience building dashboards using advanced Tableau functionality (e.g. data blending)

      • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under pressure

      • Experience in HR or Customer Experience project management, working on projects that impact the employee lifecycle

      • Experience working in a People Analytics, Marketing Science, or HR/marketing data function

      • Expertise in process and continuous improvement, human centered design, user experience and agile methodologies
