Eager to get hands on with data from every corner of a company? As a Business Intelligence Analyst you will collaborate with every department at WP Engine (like Finance, Product, Customer Experience and Sales Ops), helping them become more data-informed.
The day to day.
Passionate about enabling a culture of self-service analytics? You will serve as an authority on the company's most important centralized data sources. You'll work to connect these metrics with new data partners from across the organization as well as build out new reporting when needed. As a thriving BI analyst you'll be:
- Crafting data-informed dashboards in Looker for use by product managers, finance leaders and sales operations specialists
- Empowering WP Engine employees to find and understand the business data that is most impactful to them
- Collaborating with teammates in the Data and Analytics group to deliver far reaching data products to the whole company
Your skills and expertise.
No analyst knows every data tool and system but here are some things we're in search of in this role.
Minimum qualifications:
- 2yrs hands on experience with BI software; ideally Looker but Tableau could work as well
- Advanced reading and writing analytics ready SQL
- Ability to articulate insights from data analysis
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity navigating data warehouses like BigQuery and Redshift
- Understand the fundamentals of statistical analysis. For instance, you may have used a language like Python or R to analyze datasets
- Knowledge of analytical engineering tools like dbt, Segment, and Stitch
