That’s where you, the BI Analyst come in.

About This Role

We’re looking for someone to join the newly created BI team, becoming a specialist at understanding our data, and driving us forward. We expect you to work closely with the Marketing team leads and aid in drawing insight from our data. This includes creating dashboards, visualizations, and business tools for use across AppSumo.

On the day-to-day, you’ll be:

• Pulling reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Amazon Quicksight.
• Understanding your partner’s objectives and how they measure performance.
• Turn strategic business requirements into technical requirements
• Understand the data sources to be able to pull from the correct one for any given analysis

Required Skills

• 1-2 years of SQL experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and comfortable presenting to groups
• Knowledge of ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes
• Ability to explain complicated or technical information in a simple way to non-technical audiences
• Willingness to question the validity and accuracy of data and assumptions
• BS degree in math, statistics, computer science, or equivalent technical field

In the first three months of this role, success means understanding the data and logic behind the core reporting dashboards.
