We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join Procore’s Technical Services team. In this role, you’ll perform various duties related to the design, development, and support of business intelligence solutions. In this client-facing role, you’ll interact with Procore’s clients to deliver key reports and dashboards that meet their business needs.

As a BI Developer, you’ll partner with our clients to scope, develop, and deliver custom and complex reports which leverage Procore and 3rd party data sources. Use your analytical, technical, and creative skills to wow our clients and increase the value they realize from our software. Procore’s Analytics and Data product offerings are ever-growing and we are looking for another strong developer to join our team as we expand!

This position reports into the Manager, Technical Services and will be based in our Portland, OR or Austin, TX offices. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Scope, Develop and deliver Power BI reports and dashboards
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, showcase progress, and receive feedback
• Provide BI consulting and training services to clients
• Collaborate internally with Procore’s Product and Technology teams to stay on top of product developments and provide valuable feedback on what’s working and what could be improved
• Prototype and work on “proof of concept” ideas with prospective clients
• Provide product support for data analytics products and existing reports

What we’re looking for: 

• 2+ year with a data visualization solution such as Power BI and experience writing complex stored procedures and views
• 2+ years of experience with a consulting organization and consulting practices
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training/certification
• Design, UX, Report Design experience
• Experience working with REST-based APIs and integrations, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure SQL
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience reporting on Accounting and Financial data is preferred 
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred
