Business Analyst (Part Time/Temporary)
The Business Analyst is a multi-tasker who is obsessed with organization and details. You are excited about talking to new people daily but enjoy supporting and interacting with your immediate team. You are self-motivated and thrive on anticipating the changing needs of your clients. You are a “roll with it” and “think on your feet” kind of person, but comfortable with taking the bull by the horns when needed. The right candidate for this role loves being on the front lines with customers and supporting team members to ensure project success!
Reporting to the Solution Delivery Lead you will be part of our Client Services team and will be a remote work opportunity.
This is a temporary, part-time role (less than 29 hours a week). The anticipated duration of the assignment is 6 months with an opportunity to go full time in the future.
What You’ll Be Doing - the day to day
You will be part of our professional services project teams to help ESO customers effectively use our Patient Registry solutions. Your amazing accomplishments will reinforce their impression that sales isn’t the only time that they will get a fantastic experience at ESO. You can expect to:
· Facilitate customer meetings to understand needs and requirements for customer on product and features.
· Communicate project progress and status to customers.
· Develop and analyze data models and data sets, review customer feedback, and identify requirements to build into the product in alignment with industry standards.
· Work with product and development teams to convert high-level product requirements for customer projects by writing product requirements and tailoring specifications with supporting use cases and user stories.
· Contribute to the development process execution and assist in the creation of acceptance criteria to guide sprint and release execution including testing of product and project changes to customer solutions.
· Participate in all sprint activities as the product or project owner and SME (sprint planning, sprint reviews, and daily status meetings)
· Manage product delivery and deployment to customers through product and project execution including release plans and related documentation (update summaries/release notes/user guides/best practices)
· Facilitate coordination of internal resources across then patient registry team as related to development, deployment, and support activities.
· Conduct education and training on product and solutions to customers.
· Provide product subject matter expertise to ESO Patient Registry Support and Professional Services staff that benefits ESO Patient Registry customers department.
Who You Are - the essentials
· Experience in management and delivery of software projects and services.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Experience in software development life cycle and agile methodology.
· Experience in Salesforce. TaskRay exposure is a plus.
· Project management/coordination experience.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer driven, professional environment.
· Ability to work in close collaboration with a cross functional team.
· Self-starter and driven with ability to work independently.
