About the Role
The CrowdStrike Office of Global Security is seeking an experienced Business Continuity Specialist to help propel its Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning efforts. This role will be focused on meeting with and interviewing key personnel across the organization in an effort to understand organizational processes, technologies, and desired outcomes. A successful candidate will have prior experience in conducting Business Continuity Planning for medium or large size enterprises.
Job Requirements
Strong written and oral communication skills; experience interviewing and gathering information from department heads and key business personnel.
Experience conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) utilizing the NIST 800-34 framework. This experience should touch on some or all of the following:
Developing Information Systems Contingency Plans (ISCPs) .
Assisting technical teams in developing Technical Recovery Plans.
Developing Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP).
Developing Crisis Management Plans.
Developing Disaster Recovery Plans.
Also desired is experience with the FEMA Incident Command System as applied to commercial organizations and FEMA aligned pandemic plan development.
Education and Experience
Practical Experience in the above requirements.
Experience in ISO, or NFPA standards will also be considered.
Bonus points awarded for
A DRI Institute certification in any of the following: ABCP, CFCP, CBCP, MBCP, CBCV, ACRP, or CCRP.
Bachelor’s (BA/BS) where coursework involved Disaster Recovery Planning.
