SpareFoot is looking for a Sr. Business Systems Administrator who will provide the administration, design, automation, reporting, and interconnectivity of the SaaS solutions various teams across the business use day to day.


The Sr. Business Systems Administrator provides coordination, functional expertise, and develops improvements and enhancements for mission-critical, enterprise-wide information systems (Salesforce, Zendesk, Netsuite, and Tableau).  They are responsible for soliciting, simplifying, and documenting business requirements; technical project management; upgrades and modifications; serving as an expert for business leaders to manage the development of new system functionality; and day-to-day problem analysis, issue tracking, and resolution.  This role will provide a mix of “in the weeds” technical and administrative work, cross-functional leadership with power-users and developers in other departments, and higher level strategic planning centering on how to better utilize and integrate our core platforms.

What you will do everyday:

  • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

  • Serve as primary Administrator of cross-functional systems (Salesforce, Zendesk, etc), including licensing, security, and permissions for user base as well as configuration of workflows, triggers, and reporting.

  • Maintain and execute on a prioritized list of initiatives for each supported department.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues with supported systems and serve as the main point of contact between SpareFoot and application support teams (ZenDesk, Salesforce, Netsuite, Tableau, etc).  Coordinate teams through to resolution.

  • Configure/develop system settings and options; from turning business requirements into technical requirements to testing plans to launch, performing development within these applications as well as assigning work to and managing outsourced developer(s) when necessary.

  • Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.

  • Provide access to data from these systems via reporting and raw data.

  • Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.  Provide consultation to users as SaaS platforms subject matter expert.

  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements.

  • Maintain technical documentation for all supported systems.

  • May lead cross-functional teams to address business systems issues.  

 

What you need to bring to the table:

  • 5+ years CRM administration and development experience (Salesforce preferred) including gathering and documenting business requirements, designing and configuring forms, developing workflows, reports and dashboards, and troubleshooting application bugs

  • 3-5 years other enterprise application support and administration experience (Netsuite, Zendesk, or Tableau preferred)

  • SQL experience

  • Systems integration experience (APIs)

  • Advanced technical writing/documentation

  • Knowledge and point of view on Systems Architecture to inform strategy

  • Ability to effectively train users

  • Ability to prioritize and juggle competing requirements

  • Leadership, team collaboration, change management skills

  • Oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple and time-sensitive projects

  • Excellent analytic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to create, manage, and execute on project plans
