DESCRIPTION

As part of our Business Consulting Practice, the CPG Consulting Practice Leader, a Managing Principal in Business Consulting, will work across various technical business units, consulting groups, and clients of EPAM.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Align with the Global Business Unit’s (GBU) CPG leader on key focus areas and go-to-market strategies
  • Develop and maintain a rolling CPG business and resource plan
  • Define key competencies, skills and capabilities needed across the key focus areas that will activate the business plan
  • Build client and internal relationships and drive value within existing accounts and identify up-selling opportunities
  • Identify and drive business development activities which can include supporting pre-sales activities such as proposal/SOW writing, client presentations, etc
  • Provide subject matter expertise and business development assistance for large CPG transformation opportunities
  • Identify, develop and lead internal and external CPG Consulting talent in support of the CPG business and resource plan
  • Manage the CPG Consulting team’s performance
  • Lead consulting engagements and deliver billable client work
  • Identify and develop reusable CPG methods, offerings and solutions aligned with the key focus areas and go-to-market strategies
  • Utilize team resources and methodologies to present and implement strategic and technology solutions for clients
  • Draw conclusions from market & industry trends, client issues and support go to market initiatives for EPAM vertical
  • Help establish EPAM market eminence in CPG
  • Contribute to thought leadership, such as presentations and white papers, to strengthen industry expertise recognition
  • Help build onshore/offshore experienced consulting teams
  • Mentor and develop junior level consultants to improve quality of engagements and strengthen the overall practice

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in management consulting or industry practitioner role, with direct experience leading large client engagements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with client interaction, identifying client's priority needs for service and support
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing business and technical concepts to all audiences and to create and package related executive-level presentations
  • The ability to manage teams of consultants and work with cross functional and client facing teams within an on/off-shore model
  • Experience in project management activities: project plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation, including ensuring delivery of quality outcomes within timelines and budgets
  • Strong knowledge of relevant functions, process flows, systems and procedures which aids analysis and recommendations for solution offerings
  • Ability to grasp business needs and assess impacts to complex business operations and systems
  • Practical experience in capturing client requirements, mapping processes, conducting hypotheses-based analysis, creating business cases, evaluating and presenting solutions
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Strong client presence
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence
  • Ability to perform in fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary
  • Minimum Bachelor’s level Degree
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%
