Data Analyst

We have an exciting new role and are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Systems team. You will bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of data and reporting, design, and present data in ways to help our organization make better decisions.
All employees are currently working remote; once our offices re-open, this position can be in one of our offices, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Austin, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Florham Park, NJ or can be fully remote.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform QA/QC testing and validation on our management reports and dashboards
- Help troubleshoot and answer questions about our analytics/data
- Assist with day to day operations of the management reporting team
- Collaborate with employees across multiple departments throughout the organization to understand business wants/needs, and apply them to insightful reporting.
- Document and maintain business requirements and QA process
Requirements
- 1-3 years of applicable data analyst experience in financial reporting or business analytics
- Strong skill set in Microsoft Excel and BI software and tools (DOMO, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) essential
- Strong communication skills with internal users and team members
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong quantitative reasoning skills
- Ability to thrive on a distributed team with remote team members
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study (finance, statistics, etc.) preferred
- Agency or service industry experience preferred
