Data Architect (Business Intelligence)
We are looking for a Data Architect with a strong analytical background and expert data modeling skills to join our team! If you are highly experienced in ETL, data warehouses, OLAP, and Business Intelligence, we would love to hear from you. Requirements and Responsibilities
- Databases: Our data is stored in MS SQL Server within an Amazon RDS instance. Experience with T-SQL and SQL Server is a must, and you should be an expert at it.
- Modeling: We use ER/Studio as our modeling tool and experience with it is a plus. You should be an expert in data mart and data warehouse design and development, as well as common practices with Star and Snowflake schemas.
- Reporting: A large and major component that you will be working on are data marts and a data warehouse to produce a Business Intelligence suite for Peddle. Understanding the full SDLC for BI is a must, this includes data & requirements gathering through final report output. You should also understand and be able to develop complex equations and expressions.

Who We Are
Peddle is a modern car buying service that makes selling any car fast, easy, and awesome. Sellers simply answer a few questions about the vehicle they are looking to sell and are instantly presented with offers and options. To complete the sale, sellers can choose to have Peddle send a carrier to pick up the vehicle at its current location or to bring the vehicle to a specified drop-off location. Alternatively, if a seller is looking for a sale amount that is higher than the available offers, Peddle provides the option for sellers to list their vehicle for sale by setting an asking price. Listings are then promoted to Peddle’s national network of car buyers.
Peddle’s buyer network consists of top licensed wholesale and salvage dealers across the country that buy used and junk cars for resale, parts, or scrap. Buyers can place pre-set bids based on the types of vehicles they would like to buy, which get factored into Peddle’s instant offers. They can also browse through seller listings, view photos, and other detailed information about each vehicle, to determine if they’d like to buy or make a counteroffer to sellers.
