As a Data Engineering Manager at Red Ventures, you’ll manage a team of data engineers that build data products and create the foundation that powers our machine learning and business analytics efforts. You’ll work hand-in-hand with a variety of stakeholders from functional groups across the organization to create end-to-end solutions. Our Data Engineering Managers on the Financial Services vertical are responsible for Managing, Coaching and Mentoring team of data engineers to build data pipelines and data warehousing solutions that power products like the Bankrate.com authenticated experience, The Points Guy (TPG) mobile app, Lonely Planet and new business launches like Interest.com.  Build scalable systems, lead technical discussions, participate in code reviews, guide the team in engineering best practices.  Provide Learning and Development Opportunities to the team.  Define and Manage priorities to the team by working with business stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in managing data engineers
• 8+ years of total experience in software development
• A technical leader who can guide and coach team of data engineers
• Experience with Scala or Python
• Experience with one of the major cloud providers (we use AWS but we welcome candidates with experience in Azure or GCP)
• Experience with one of the major data warehousing solutions (we use Redshift but we welcome candidates with experience in Snowflake, Oracle or Teradata)
