Data Engineer
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage data extract and ingest issues from partner data sources including all flavors of database servers and technologies
- Provide SQL expertise in developing ETL transformations for known and unknown systems to our internal data model
- Work with internal and external partners on data validation providing feedback and making customized changes to data feeds and data mappings
- Manage data movement throughout our AWS infrastructure including building data science models and standing up end user applications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree plus 3 years experience OR Masters degree
- Expertise in writing complicated database queries in the SQL language. We write SQL for all DB flavors with a focus on Postgres/Redshift, so no GUI interfaces here.
- Expertise in data warehouse development
- Must be comfortable with command line build tools
