Blackbaud Target Analytics is seeking a Consultant to join our team. This is an ideal position for a fundraiser or development professional looking to take their career in a new direction. The ideal candidate is highly inquisitive and analytical, an exceptional communicator, a proven presenter, goal oriented and is looking to leverage their experience in the non-profit field to work collaboratively with clients to help them improve their fundraising programs. 

Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience and expertise in working in strategic direct marketing fundraising roles at non-profit organizations. The candidate must also have a working understanding of all other key development functions including: prospect research, annual giving, major giving, planned giving, constituent data management, and management reporting/business intelligence. Ideal candidates will have had experience working in/with multi non-profit sectors, have a strong analytic ability and be able to convey detailed, sometimes complex analytic information to a wide range of client personas.

The main purpose of this role is to support our donorCentrics product line by:

  • Reviewing client deliverables for quality and accuracy prior to returning final products to our clients
  • Analyzing past giving performance metrics using static reports and interactive software systems
  • Translating past giving analyses to written summaries and through both web and onsite meetings with clients
  • Over time, the successful candidate will also become a facilitator of our collaborative benchmarking meetings where clients meet together to review donorCentrics reports and discuss best practices
  • Building and maintaining strong partner relationships with clients
  • Achieving budgeted utilization targets as they relate to the revenue and profitability of Target Analytics
  • Maintaining acceptable client satisfaction levels as measured by standard measurement tools
  • Supporting the sales division by serving as a subject matter expert to drive business development
  • Providing feedback to product development to innovate new service offerings, introduce new product features, or request enhancements to existing functionality as learned in the field and which address market needs
  • Participating in conferences and thought leadership activities as required
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment to meet team goals and objectives yet be independent and self-motivated to navigate between a high volume of client deliverables

 

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred
  • 5 or more years of experience in direct marketing or annual fund required
  • Demonstrated analytic ability in using fundraising data and analytics to drive strategy decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize large volumes of detailed quantitative information and convey findings through written reports and presentations
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills with both small and large groups and to diverse audiences at various skill levels
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience with standard Microsoft Office product suite, plus Adobe PDF and Tableau
  • Familiarity with donorCentrics benchmarking products strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
