What You Will Do
Perform analysis and reporting regarding financial operations and information.

  • Perform statistical, cost and financial analysis of data extracted from various internal sources.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Serve as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Load final budget spreads into applicable systems and perform required reconciliations.
  • Coordinate budget development reviews as needed
  • Maintain log for submitted proposals
  • Complete setup of grants in system
  • Review funding source /audit requirement for SEFA Review
  • Ensure the award setup accurately reflects the terms and conditions of the award as well as anticipated spending
  • Transition funded projects from pre- to post-award in an organized and collaborative process
  • Monitor and follow-up with Financial Analyst on expiring grants and contracts to ensure renewals/amendments are in place or pre-award accounts are established in time to prevent a delay in activity on the award
  • Assists with overseeing progress report deadlines
  • Properly, close, retire and inactivate the project IDs no later than 120 days after the budget end date if they are not continuing
  • Obtain business needs specifications from users and request access in systems such as eRA, Justgrants.gov, Grants.gov, etc and assign Grant Manager (aka Workspace) roles.
  • SAM registrations/information requests for proposal submissions


What You Will Need
Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.


Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience preferred.
