Spreetail is an ecommerce company that currently operates VMInnovations, a multi-marketplace retailer that sells thousands of awesome products through major marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. Spreetail is currently in the middle of building something big, new, and exciting due to launch in 2019 with a simple mission: to make customers’ lives better through exceptionally fast service, great products, and community impact.

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Spreetail has recently expanded into two new offices based in Omaha, NE and Austin, TX with rapidly growing teams. We currently have hundreds of employees across the company, and are searching for crazy smart, talented, visionary people.

As Head of Inventory, you will:

• Responsible for Spreetail's inventory management strategy leading our Planning & Forecasting teams as well as our Replenishment & Allocation teams.
• Partners with Finance team on our financing plan and purchasing limitations. They are responsible for communicating this through Pods and providing direction at a category level. 
• Owns the complete open to buy process and communicates guidance to Senior Planners for inventory strategies in their Pods. 
• Works with Head of Vendor Management on our order strategy to improve final costs and our COGS outcomes. They provide feedback and direction for Senior Planners to improve financial performance through the inventory process.
• Provides guidance and data to the operations team to plan for space and storage needs in our Fulfillment Network. 
• Continually reviewing prior period performance and identifying opportunties and threats in our inventory plan. 
• Oversees the data modeling of the team's tools and ensures we are proactively making adjustments based on both internal and external changes in the market. 
• Works with the Tools and Software teams to create and execute the vision of our automated order and replenishment software. 
• Leads and develops Senior Planners and the Manager of Replenishment and Allocation.

• 5+ years experience leading people 
• 10+ years of experience in inventory management, financial planning and financial analysis
• P&L management experience 
• Extensive negotiation experience 
• Leadership of large business unit
