Job Summary:
We are seeking a Knowledge Manager to join our industry-leading, 40+ person Media & Engagement team. Real Chemistry is looking for data-driven, savvy game changers who are ready to dive into the trenches by embracing and mastering customer relationship management (CRM) programs, focusing on earned media and social media analytics and providing insights and recommendations to inform strategy to make an immediate impact across the entire agency. The role of Knowledge Manager, Media & Engagement, would include the following responsibilities and the candidate would exhibit the skill sets noted below
Responsibilities:
Pivotal team member who will work across the full Media & Engagement Team and geographies to help create, find, organize and share knowledge as well as best practices from the Real Chemistry Media & Engagement team
Work alongside the Media & Engagement Team to create an efficient system that houses all team materials; conduct proactive ongoing maintenance to organize content / resources
Ongoing management of internal knowledge management system to support the practice work across geographies, capabilities, sectors and special projects
Learn and master various CRM databases (e.g., Cision, Muckrack), new social media and analytics tracking systems (Newswhip, Symplur), and other earned automation and measurement tools
Ability to provide “on demand” insights and influencer lists across a variety of formats (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Act as a resource in providing knowledge and information to all facets of daily work across the Media & Engagement Team and throughout the Real Chemistry network
Help to organize and develop new case studies highlighting client work
Partner with Media & Engagement leaders to manage onboarding materials for the team
Work with the Media & Engagement Team to optimize collective efforts around new business (management of capes, new business slides, templates)
Support the development of team meeting PPTs and capture notes and action items to organize / facilitate next steps and assignments
Capture, organize and share master coverage tracker to inform internal communications and new business presentations
Maintain and update insights related to planned editorial calendar opportunities, preferred vendors, awards and sponsored content opportunities
Participate in relevant industry events / webinars to share insights with the team and across the agency, as appropriate
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
Exceptionally organized and detail oriented
Data-driven, with an interest in learning and mastering earned automation software / platforms
Passion for learning and interest in all aspects of the health marketing and communications space with a focus on earned media, social media, platforms and technology, case studies, and client trends
Proven ability to manage large projects as well as work independently
Ability to navigate multiple projects with attention to detail and quality assurance
Effective organizational, communication and writing skills
Efficient in critical thinking and problem solving
Ability to learn new media tools and build understanding for concepts on various media engagement approaches
