Operations Analyst
Q2 is seeking a talented, curious, and outgoing Business Analyst to join our Insights and Operations team. This team is a diverse group of analysts, organizers, and collaborators using data to reveal insights, support decisions, and drive positive change at all levels of the organization. This role reports to the Director of Insights and Operations.
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for creating operational reports, dashboards, decision support models, and presentations using the latest tools in the industry. These deliverables will engage business stakeholders with clear and compelling stories that connect teams at Q2 and inspire decisive action. You will routinely engage executives, directors, and team leaders to plan and execute projects that directly impact how we deliver and support our products and services to customers. This role also supports the routine administration of our Salesforce and Mavenlink platforms.
Essential Job Functions:
- Communicate key business indicators across the enterprise using creative ideas and modern tools
- Distill large quantities of data into meaningful conclusions and associated action items
- Collaborate with and advise leadership on leading performance indicators
- Create and maintain new decision support and analysis models
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in related technical or business field or equivalent experience
- Expertise or can quickly learn data modeling and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
- Strong technical and non-technical presentation skills (PowerPoint)
- Collaboration in Office 365 suite (Power BI, Sharepoint, etc.)
- 3+ years’ experience in this type of work and managing assignment execution either in an academic or business setting
- Helpful:
- Experience with Business intelligence & Data warehousing (SQL Server)
- Knowledge of banking practices and or software delivery business
- PowerBI and other data visualization software and PSA tools such as Mavenlink
- SQL knowledge or other skills commonly used to select, compare and analyze and report data
