Operations Analyst
The Operations Analyst, reporting to the Sr Director of Operations, will have a passion for business operations analysis, technology, risk management, collaboration, agility, and planning; along with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation. Responsible for operational reporting and analysis, process improvement, financial and data analysis. Exercises a moderate level of independent judgment and execution, directly impacting the operational results.
Develops and maintains sophisticated spreadsheets and other software products that support decision making and serves decision-makers. The Operations Analyst serves as a conduit of information across multiple cross-functional teams as they lead and influence others.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create and manage key performance indicators that are actively monitored and reported on a monthly basis
- Distill large quantities of data into meaningful observations and recommended action items
- Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly operation reports and presentations
- Automate reporting where possible and ensure understanding by business leaders
- Help develop Q2 methodology, best practices, and processes around data reporting and analysis
- Establish and maintain quality assurance review checks to monitor reporting and data accuracy
- Ensure consistency across groups and promote cross-business initiatives
- Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of Operational Analysis experience or related higher learning activities
- Proven process improvement skills with a track record of operational success or related higher learning activities
- Excellent communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff
- Integrity, professionalism, honesty, self-confidence, respect, and conviction
- Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail while keeping an eye toward the big picture
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight timelines, and demanding constraints
- Ability to work on multiple assignments, prioritize, and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Innate desire and ability to find the root cause of issues, while balancing business needs to identify, support, and solve customer needs
- Moderate to high-level skill set in standard office applications and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of banking practices is helpful
