The Human Resources team at Realtor.com is searching for a Reporting & Data Analyst to collaborate with HR and our broader business groups. This individual will find innovative ways to deliver meaningful metrics, trends, key insights, and analysis in clear, concise stories for various stakeholders. What you’ll do:
Be a key player in our newly created HR Reporting and Data Analyst role, you’ll have the opportunity to drive new data processes, workflows, reports, and expectations across the Human Resources team and the business.
Develop, automate, standardize, and publish reports and analyses to help disseminate data and insights to key leaders/partners to enable and support business decisions.
Work with team members from various teams and departments to provide team/dept level advanced data analysis and reporting.
Development and maintenance of metrics, data sets, dashboards, to inform decision making and drive continual improvement and effectiveness of Human Resources.
Use data visualization programs, tools, and techniques to generate dashboards and presentations that aid in data storytelling, understanding, and interpretation of trends and patterns of business importance as well as identify areas for improvement.
Perform analysis of relevant HR metrics and uncover and articulate trends in the data; forecast and quantify the gaps, risks, and opportunities in order to support people strategy and our team.
Partner with leaders/partners to understand evolving reporting needs and drive the requirements for optimal dashboard and reporting tool usage.
Provide strategic recommendations for streamlining current reporting workflow.
Document and implement data workflows, process maps, etc. as required.
Support process improvements & project initiatives.
What you’ll bring:
Masters Degree in Data Science or related field, or BS Degree/equivalent experience.
5+ years’ experience working with Python or SQL and other data mining techniques for analyzing large data sets.
5+ years’ experience working in data visualization platforms - e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Looker.
5+ years’ experience working in contemporary HR Technology platforms such as UlitPro, Workday, Peoplesoft, etc.
Strong background in data, plus the curiosity to learn new tools and techniques, and an excellent prioritizer and multi-tasker.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google suite
Researches market trends pertaining to analytics and reporting tools
A self-starter mentality who can identify problems/issues and offer workable solutions.
A deep understanding of all HR function and operational processes including laws and regulations
Works with honestly, integrity and the utmost care for their work, colleagues and our employees
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, commercially focused and customer-driven
Ability to present to, facilitate and influence leaders/partners
