WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As Qualia embarks on the next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to take our people analytics to the next level. Supporting the full People team (Recruiting, People Operations, Compensation & Benefits and L&D) this role will help the people team make more data-driven decisions and recommendations and build better attractions, retention and development strategies. The ideal candidate will have already started their business analysis career and be looking to either broaden their analysis work or move to a company where their analysis and insight will have more business impact. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand Qualia’s People systems infrastructure and pull, connect, analyze and provide insight to People team leaders
  • Produce a regular suite of reports and insight to support the people team
  • Research sources of external benchmarking data to add insight to internal analysis 
  • Incorporate people data into strategy docs, white papers and inject data into the many operational aspects of the People team
  • Work with IT and engineering teams to build the data structure/s that we need for ongoing reporting and analysis so that People team members and People leaders can be empowered with people analytics and insights to make better people decisions

YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH

  • 4+ years of experience producing reporting, dashboarding, and providing analytical insight to decision making
  • 2+ years experience working with People team data 
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and/or G-suite skills 
  • Experience with pulling data from HRIS and Recruiting systems, specifically ADP Workforce Now and Greenhouse.
  • Experience with constructing dashboards in Tableau, Looker or similar platform to disseminate insight and information across the full talent lifecycle 
  • Proven success partnering with People team executives and leaders 
  • Creative approach to collecting, analyzing, and turning data into insight
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - strong, presentation-ready executive slide writing skills a must
  • Great project management and prioritization skills - the ability to manage to deadlines with relatively limited oversight once assignments are delegated
  • Comfort managing the requests and priorities of multiple stakeholders; this role is a matrixed one that will work closely with both the Recruiting and the People Ops teams
  • Comfort with and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and ability to balance competing interests
  • Bachelor's degree
