What You Will Do
 

 

 

The QA/Test Lead - Master Data Management will focus on driving quality output, reducing time to implementation, & increasing efficiency for the Reltio Master Data Management (MDM) platform. The operating model will be insights-driven and focus on rapid iterations to drive innovation and transformation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a hands on advocate and leader for Test Automation for the Enterprise Information Management team.
  • Drive continuous development and deployment strategies with an iterative/incremental philosophy.
  • Collaborate with the development team to hardwire test case creation and testing processing into the development cycles.
  • Build automation frameworks to increase reuse and reduce effort.
  • Keep processes current, flexible, and designed to work within a continuous integration / deployment framework.
  • Participate in the testing process (e.g. user acceptance testing, unit, system, regression, integration testing).
  • Develop methods and procedures to create automation test data and data refresh capabilities.
  • Devise and implement strategies for test planning, test case management, test execution, defect management, and release management.
  • Prepare reports on code effectiveness and defects to the production team.
  • Assume a proactive role in the discovery of user stories.
  • Analyze a chain of events and apply technical knowledge following established procedures.
  • Work with other team members to understand and explain business and technical issues, explain new technologies, and present deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot business problems and high level issues on a daily basis working with functional and technical resources; provide input and make recommendations to improve the quality and assurance of the solution being developed.
  • Apply change control principles when making system changes and modifications.
  • Follow agile development methodology and participate in agile ceremonies along with the team.

 

SKILLS:

  • Ability to analyze and define complex processes and sub-processes.
  • Ability to study data models and business requirements to effectively develop solutions.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills (oral and written) to partner technically with Application Architects, Development, QA/Testing organizations, and Business teams.
  • Working knowledge of iterative and incremental development processes, such as agile, feature-driven development, and/or Rational Unified Process development methodologies is essential.
  • Experience with BDD, TDD, or ATDD design techniques.
  • Exposure to performance engineering and scalability testing.
  • Exposure to different test data management techniques and tools.
  • Passion for building solutions through automation, driven by innovation and commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Experience in developing or influencing the development of automated framework(s) for enterprise-level functional and regression testing is preferable.
  • Strong programming, debugging/troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred software experience
    • Reltio or other MDM software
    • Google Cloud Platform tools
    • Python
    • SQL Server
  • Ability to develop service-oriented data flow processes. 
  • Communicate effectively with diverse people at various organization levels with the right level of detail and cultural sensitivity.

 

Flexible and open to new ideas with the ability to understand things from corporate, regional and

local perspective while maintaining customer focus. Proven ability to work in an ambiguous

environment; self-motivated to work in an independent and collaborative mode. Ability to build

strong relationships with peers and leaders by building trust and credibility; strong collaboration

skills. Active listening skills to understand business needs and steer business team to take

decisions that have enterprise-wide impact.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or other related major is preferred
  • Experience working with Reltio or other Master Data Management platforms is preferred
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred
  • Experience testing API-focused data pipelines
  • Experience developing custom APIs is preferred
  • Experience with test automation tools is preferred
  • Experience with version control tools
  • Experience with graph databases is preferred
  • Previous provider and clinical systems knowledge is preferred, both in the inpatient and ambulatory settings

 

What You Will Need
 

Education:

 

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.

Work Experience:

•  3 years of experience preferred
