About Juniper Square

Our mission is to make the world’s private capital markets more efficient, transparent, and accessible. Privately owned assets like commercial real estate make up half of our financial ecosystem yet remain inaccessible to most people. We are digitizing these markets and as a result bringing access to millions who don’t currently benefit from one of the most productive corners of our financial ecosystem. If you care about making the world a better place by making markets work better through technology—all while contributing as a member of a values-driven organization—we want to hear from you. We’ve tripled our team in each of the past three years while maintaining an excellent culture and staying true to our values. We are well-funded and building for the long-term, and are on track to triple our headcount again this year. We need YOU to help us achieve our mission.

About your Role

As a Reporting Operations Analyst, your primary responsibility will be assisting investment managers with quarterly reporting to their limited partners through the Juniper Square reporting network.  You’ll engage hands-on with investment managers and their limited partners, and collaborate with colleagues from product development, sales, solutions engineering and customer success. Specifically, you will:

  • Ensure accurate and timely quarterly reporting through the Juniper Square network between investment managers and their limited partners
  • Onboard new investment managers to the Juniper Square network and set them up for future, recurring independent reporting
  • Coordinate and train current Juniper Square customers to report through their existing investor portals
  • Review, analyze, and audit manager-provided investor capital account balances, transactions, and property-level holdings
  • Learn to upload, extract, and transform data using the Juniper Square application and other software tools
  • Keep up-to-date records of project reporting statuses relied upon by multiple internal teams
  • Coordinate with our solutions engineering team to provide a great experience for both investment managers and their limited partners
  • Recommend improvements to our application and operations based on your experiences

In this role, you’ll work directly with the largest investment managers and limited partners, get experience managing investment and asset data, and become an expert in the Juniper Square product and the associated reporting network. You’ll develop tools and collateral to make these processes more efficient as the business grows. This is a great experience if you’re considering a future in account management, product management, customer success, data analysis, or sales engineering, since you’ll get exposure to all of these areas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working with complex datasets in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail; analytical and inquisitive nature
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathy for customers, and passion for helping them
  • Self-starter personality; comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing environments
  • Interest in software and finance; familiarity with real estate private equity concepts or asset management a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment

This is a full-time position located in our Austin office or San Francisco office.

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity
  • Health, dental, and vision care for you and your family
  • Unlimited vacation policy and paid holidays
  • Generous paid family leave, medical leave, and bereavement leave policies
  • 401k retirement savings plan
