About the Role

We are seeking a passionate cybersecurity professional to support our strategic competitive endeavors. This role will function as the strategic lead within CrowdStrike, responsible for understanding and developing competitive analysis for a specific segment of the market.

In this role you will be directly responsible for driving competitive field facing strategy, and working with our product teams to guide roadmap decisions by developing a deep, nuanced understanding of the technical capabilities needed to dominate the market, primary GTM strategy/tactics, as well as why CrowdStrike wins or loses. You will partner with senior leaders across Product Groups, Sales, Enablement, and Marketing to achieve these objectives and scale to a global level.

This role requires deep technical knowledge in cyber security endpoint protection, and a functional understanding of actual real-world deployments, extended use-cases, and customer motivations. The ultimate goal is to uncover new opportunities, strategies and tactics to enable CrowdStrike to win at scale.

Remote U.S. role within a reasonable commuting distance to one of the following offices: Sunnyvale, CA; Irvine, CA; El Segundo, CA; Austin, TX; Seattle, WA; Kirkland, WA; St. Louis, MO; Arlington, VA; Minneapolis, MN.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • You will be required to synthesize and formulate guidance from a variety of information levels and sources (technical, business, field, external) and regularly present key takeaways to the field and to senior leadership

  • Provide a field-actionable, in-depth, and ever-evolving understanding and analysis of competitive dynamics, relative to CrowdStrike solutions and capabilities

  • Function as the company’s strategic advisor on this market, and become the “de facto” subject matter expert on the market for all business units and functions

  • Provide tailored deal support (opportunity assessments & guidance), and develop a deep rapport with the field

  • You will work closely multiple teams within CrowdStrike, including key stakeholders (Office of the CTO, field leadership, sales ops, product, and marketing teams), functioning as a primary liaison for cross-functional corporate initiatives relating to increasing market share including direct development of competitive support material and competitive readiness plans.

  • Make recommendations on sales tactics and product strategy to enable CrowdStrike to win in the market.

  • Will be expected to be a self-starter with an ownership mentality. You will work autonomously in the development of project plans, requirements, timelines, content, and ongoing tracking/updates of the competition. You will leverage executive sponsorship to collaborate cross-functionally across the entire company to execute your programs and drive success.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Cyber Security market with heavy emphasis on endpoint protection

  • Must have some field relevant experience in endpoint protection and associated security discipline

An Insider's view of CrowdStrike

What’s the vibe like in the office?

I was truly blown away by how great CrowdStrike’s culture is. We’re incredibly collaborative and everyone genuinely likes to spend time with one another. This is just one of the reasons that really drew me to grow my career here!

Vince

Corporate Sales Manager

What does your typical day look like?

A Corporate Account Executive is essentially a relationship manager between any organization that we're working with and CrowdStrike. We're strategic and we really dig into the current security environment of a company: finding out what their pain points are, finding out what their goals are, and then positioning a solution!

Theo

Corporate Account Executive

What are some things you learned at the company?

Being in a role that works with multiple departments within CrowdStrike, as well as, with others outside of the company, I have learned the importance of clear communication & collaboration skills through exposure to different situations and learning from those around me. I am excited to see how these skills grow as I develop in my career.

Marit

Account Manager, Renewals - Team Lead

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

My leadership style is to be supportive and a little bit experimental. We don't try to cookie cut our reps. We want everyone to find out what they are good at and then coach to those strengths, cover the weaknesses and help everyone find their own way to be successful.

Jack

Senior Director, Corporate Sales

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

CrowdStrike has provided endless opportunities for my professional growth. Not only has the organization provided the support to advance my career internally, but they also prepare you for success with any future endeavors outside of the CrowdStrike organization!

Michelle

SMB Account Executive
