About the Role:
We are looking for a highly driven Sr. Analyst, Sales Operations to be the go-to analyst for the sales VP/GM of one of our core businesses. This person will be a valued business partner involved in every aspect of the business, producing actionable insights to sales leadership that drive continued growth and performance in the market. This person will also identify and drive business process improvements that improve simplicity and scalability in our sales organization. This is an opportunity to leverage your unique blend of business savvy, big-picture vision, and the tactical execution required to make that vision a reality – all in a high-exposure role.
As a consummate team player, this individual will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, product and the executive team to support a high-growth sales organization. The group has defined a holistic solution in enterprise data management that is unique to the market. - Work closely with senior sales leadership to provide critical support on all aspects of their business - from annual planning to quotas, compensation plans, forecasting and go-to-market planning; be their trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
- Fully understand and master internal sales operations processes in order to evaluate and assess opportunities for improvements.
- Design solutions solicit buy-in from stakeholders across various departments, lead change and own project management for the execution of the plan.
- Assist, partner and lead components of our business integration efforts for recently completed, as well as potential future, acquisitions.
- Weekly forecasting analysis, inspecting pipeline and identifying opportunities to improve the business. Recommending changes to current sales techniques, procedures or promotional efforts based on market research and new trends.
- Approximately 20% travel within North America.
Competitive Candidate Profile:
- 7-10 years’ experience in sales operations, finance, management consulting and/or operations preferably in a high-tech software as a service (SaaS) environment.
- Eagerness to learn everything about our business, take on more responsibility and advance in our organization.
- Multi-discipline rotation program exposure is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a cross-functional organization.
- Strong financial and business acumen and management skills with demonstrated willingness and capability to learn new areas quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to develop data-driven decisions that lead to results.
- Track record driving meaningful and measurable change through others.
- Proved ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects. Project Management methodology a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce.com and strong proficiency in Excel

- Demonstrated success in identifying business issues / opportunities for improvements, designing solutions and implementing solutions successfully.
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Business Management or equivalent.
- Preference given to candidate residing within commutable distance of Drillinginfo Head Quarters in Austin. Additional locations include Chicago, Denver and Houston offices
