The Senior Analyst is responsible for campaign measurement of clients to generate insights through data and tell a compelling story. They will run standard and ad-hoc analysis, communicating results to internal and external clients with an emphasis on providing insights from the data and providing value to the client. This individual will partner with account, activation and research teams to develop compelling reporting that guides strategic client activation recommendations.
Qualifications
Understanding of online advertising planning, buying and performance metrics, with expertise in paid social
Facebook Blueprint Certification, Twitter Flight School, LinkedIn Ads Training and YouTube Certified are preferred
Knowledge of display, search and programmatic buying a plus
Experience with site analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and tracking URLs
Familiarity with setting KPI’s, building benchmarks and measuring client performance on a recurring basis
Familiarity with social media monitoring platforms (Sysomos, Crimson Hexagon, BrandWatch, etc.)
Strategic approach to measurement with a tactical activation lens
Core Responsibilities
Manage and develop social and digital media monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc analysis reports
Monitor performance KPIs for social and digital marketing activities
Work with cross functional teams (Account, Activation, Creative) to identify insights and provide strategic recommendations for content development, audience targeting and media tactics
Present findings in professional manner to internal and external audiences
Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis across the online Paid, Earned, Shared and Owned spectrum
Lead initiatives, collaborative efforts and brainstorming sessions with internal teams
Areas of Opportunity
As this role works in partnership with W2O’s traditional social research team and its media activation teams, there is opportunity to work more closely with either group. While the primary focus of this role will be on paid media measurement, there is opportunity to expand and either:
Work with our social research teams to use custom methodologies to answer client communication and marketing questions, with a lens for activation
Work with our media activation team to use data driven insights to guide daily campaign optimizations
Work with our data sciences team to further explore proprietary tools and data management.
