RetailMeNot is looking for a full-time Senior Business Strategy Analyst to join us at our office headquarters, located in the heart of downtown Austin, TX.

Our Business Operation Planning and Analytics (Biz Ops) team is built from a group of experts in strategy advisory, data analysis and financial modeling. We play a pivotal role in decision-making for key strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional quantitative ability, great communication skills and a strong background in strategy, analysis and modeling. This role provides a great platform for working on diverse range of projects with cross-functional teams.

Who You Are:

• You have undergrad in quantitative streams such as Finance, Business, Mathematics, Economics or Science/ Engineering
• You have 2+ years of relevant experience in strategy analysis, financial modeling or data analytics
• Consulting experience will be a plus
• You have the ability to dive deep into large datasets and deal with ambiguous data
• You have an intermediate knowledge of SQL; Tableau experience is a plus
• You have the ability to synthesize complex data analysis and present it in a story-telling format
• Experience communicating with senior management (VP and C level decision-makers)
• You have a passion to work on strategy development, P&L management and data crunching
• You have exceptional quantitative skills
• You have a linear thinking approach to solve complex business problems
• You have the desire for constant learning in product/business/pricing strategy
• Willingness to work on ad-hoc projects and dealing with ambiguity
• You are comfortable with changing priorities and tight deadlines
• You have high standards in everything you do and attention to details
• You get energized by working in fast-paced environment and getting things done
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making
• You enjoy being a part of big data environment and having daily interaction with team members who are heavy on business analytics 

What You'll Do:

• You will own strategy analysis, financial modeling and trend monitoring for areas such as growth products and marketing investment
• You will analyze site behavior data to evaluate effectiveness of business strategies
• You will provide data driven insights to support product strategy development
• You will act as a strategic partner to Product team and quantify size of opportunities for potential initiatives for prioritization of investments
• You will help the Product Marketing and Marketing team to evaluate ROI of promotions and campaign investments
• You will support ad-hoc analytics based projects to address critical business issues
