REAL CHEMISTRY is seeking a Senior Group Director, Analytics to join our Integrated Intelligence (I2) team. I2 is the practice formerly known as Analytics. We’ve changed our name to more closely identify with the innovative work we do beyond data analysis. We integrate across data sources, functions, methodologies, and technologies, to deliver insights that lead to intelligent action for our client’s and their critical business decisions.
As a Senior Group Director, Analytics you will have three primary job responsibilities, including 1) strategic business development, 2) support of analytics engagements within existing relationships, and 3) raising the bar on our internal coordination and acumen to better position us for growth and practice scalability. Your position will lead high-priority initiatives and collaborate with colleagues to explore and uncover business needs to deliver and grow new business. You will drive one or more I2 strategic pillars, potentially including Integration and Expansion, focused on organic growth from both a direct and collaborative revenue standpoint, developing assets to educate and infuse analytics into other functions within the organization. You will motivate and develop junior I2 team members into strong researchers and collaborative contributors to the overall practice.
You’re a leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and you have an eye for strategic growth and expansion. You understand the intricacies of healthcare or other heavily regulated environments, and will be a thought leader, bring new ideas and approaches, helping uplevel our research and analytics offerings. You will partner with the extended I2 team, as well as other disciplines (communications, marketing), various activation teams cross-PESO, to implement/automate/operationalize models that will make you a significant contributor to the overall success of the client business as they will be critical to multiple large-scale relationships across REAL CHEMISTRY.
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a large client or analytics team. Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality work in several different client situations. Can develop novel methodologies for approaching client problems when appropriate.
- A passion for telling stories fueled by data and insights. A natural leader that people rally around -- excited to grow people and celebrate their achievements. Standard for delivering value and motivation to make a positive impact.
- Takes leadership role in new and organic business development. Contributes to analytics strategy for pitches and attends agency pitches. Develops complex scopes and proposals. Represents analytics in pitches.
What you'll bring:
- Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the marketing communications landscape including audiences, datasets, clients, regulatory issues, technologies, etc. Deep experience with a variety of client relationships. Strong pulse on day to day hot topics.
- Experience: 12+ years of experience with majority in at least one of the following areas: healthcare/pharmaceutical marketing/PR/advertising, strategic planning, digital/social strategy, digital/social analytics, social listening, primary/syndicated research, or account management. 5-7 years of team management, including career development and project leadership.
