The opportunity

We are looking for a versatile and passionate Machine Learning engineer to join a new and exciting team tasked with building consequential discovery and creative products, destinations, and services for the world’s gamers. You will be building and supporting innovative, new Machine Learning products for consumers. You will be working on models and embeddings that will be used in these applications to create delightful experiences for gamers.

What you’ll be doing

• Build world-class recommendation systems using computer vision and natural language processing models.
• Design, architect and deliver end-to-end machine learning solutions to address critical product needs.
• Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments (e.g. distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU)
• Engage in key technical and design discussions with technical leads in the team, and build large-scale machine learning models and deploy them to the online trust and safety system.

What we’re looking for

• Excellent experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Research Engineer or similar roles, in building and productizing applied machine learning products
• Strong skills in a high-level language like Python or C++,with solid fundamentals in modern software engineering practices and ML system design
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: consumer-facing applied machine learning products in the areas of recommendation systems, computer vision, natural language processing models.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps frameworks (e.g. Kubeflow, MLflow) and cloud services like AWS or GCP
• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, or an equivalent technical field
