We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team.
The Senior ML Engineer works as a member of the date-engineering team developing and supporting infrastructure serving our data science and artificial intelligence (AI) models. This team interfaces with the product and data science teams to build systems to meet customer objectives securely and safely. This team is responsible for all infrastructure, code, and CI/CD supporting our AI products as well as owners of data (databases, warehouses, etc.).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines for ingesting data from our various platforms (via SFTP, APIs, etc.).
- Develop infrastructure (containers, etc.) and infrastructure deployment methods (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, etc.).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain testing environments for our infrastructure (Kubernetes, etc.) and our data science team.
- Develop APIs for serving model results (or equivalent) back to our platforms.
- Develop data platforms for our various data streams, ensuring data quality, validation, and downstream AI tasks are accounted for.
- Maintain enterprise cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) infrastructure or cloud-native infrastructure.
- Design and maintain logging and metric infrastructure to ensure up-time and reporting of key metrics external to our team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's in computer science, mathematics, or related degree focusing on these subjects, or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to quickly learn to maintain and advance our data and infrastructure environments.
- Shows ability to solve problems and minimize technical footprint and technical debt.
- Strong understanding of version control (git or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of containers and container orchestrators.
- Comfortable developing from a Linux environment.
- Practical hands-on experience in at least one enterprise cloud vendor, preferably AWS (Athena, Batch, CDK, IAM, S3, Step Function, etc..).
- Practical hands-on experience writing production-grade code in Python, or an equivalent language.
- Understanding of relational databases and other data infrastructure are preferred.
- Experience building APIs is preferred.

- This role is regularly required to walk, climb stairs, sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
