What you’ll do…
As a Senior Sales Operations Analyst, Planning & Analytics, you will shape the future of what data-driven organizations look like, drive processes for extracting and using that data in creative ways, and create new lines of thinking within an infinite number of situations. This is an individual contributor role that acts as a hybrid between planning and analytics.
You will create valuable, transformative business strategies through the measurement, manipulation, reporting and dissemination of broad sets of data. You will apply and advise on state-of-the-art advanced analytic and quantitative tools and modeling techniques in order to derive business insights, solve complex business problems and improve decisions. You will review, support and advise on the day-to-day analytics requirements of clients’ key operational processes while continually improving the impact of these processes. Drive GTM related discussions, build relationships, and most importantly prepare and present proposals. You will lead or advise on GTM engagements to ensure we execute and deliver distinctive recommendations on GTM issues.
Requirements:
- Strategic Planning: Participate/lead recurring planning processes
- Partner with sales leaders on how to optimize resources to drive growth, including medium/long-term planning focused on market opportunity sizing, product focus, resourcing, and organizational design
- Proactively drive the Global Sales Business Plan framework and its individual key components - coverage model, compensation strategy, go-to-market framework – through the various early and quarterly planning cycle
- Balances strategy with operations to ensure that models can be effectively implemented
- Manage all planning related operations, including the development of scorecards to monitor key processes
- Drive the GTM Planning process, working in close co-operation with Marketing, Product Management, Services, Finance and Sales leadership
- Aligns the go to market strategy with the company’s Strategic Imperatives
- Business Insights: Conduct impactful analyses on major revenue and product trends, including vertical/sub-vertical performance, product adoption, leading revenue indicators, productivity and sales effectiveness
- Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data visualization and data-mining to tell the story behind numbers
- Automation and efficiency: Develop standard processes and tools/dashboards that can be scaled centrally
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience working cross functionally with sales and/or marketing strategies for enterprise technology organizations
- Must have experience working in channel organizations
- Strong presentation and communication skills a must
Additional Qualifications
- Experience working in the security technology or services industry a plus
- MBA preferred, but not required
