Strategic Sourcing Analytics Manager
The Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Manager will be responsible for supporting strategic sourcing, vendor management and internal stakeholder management at realtor.com across all business units. This position requires excellent internal and external stakeholder abilities as this role will be the primary sourcing and procurement leader for the Company. This role will support strategic sourcing processes and initiatives that take into consideration the impact on operations, customers and internal partners.
This role will also be helping to provide operational support and thought leadership on procurement/sourcing strategies regarding overall process and infrastructure improvements. This position will support consistency in approach and quality and depth of analysis during the procurement/sourcing process, will help control and reduce spend across the organization, and will report into the Director of Strategic Sourcing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Develop, implement and manage sourcing for select spend categories
•Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key vendors
•Demonstrate best practices for supplier relationship management and support vendor business reviews
•Develop savings targets and deliver agreed upon economic value to the Business
•Evaluate total cost/supply analyses to identify opportunities to reduce Total Cost Ownership
•Serve as a business partner to key Business Unit stakeholders by identifying their critical business requirements and providing procurement services to meet/exceed their expectations
•Lead supplier engagement processes including conducting vendor due diligence, RFx, negotiations and vendor management across a variety of categories
•Prepare and execute clear, structured, negotiations following the Strategic Sourcing process
•Owning Procurement sourcing tools
•Align with consistent application of procurement processes across constituent groups
•Institutionalize procurement performance measures that demonstrate value and ensure supplier performance
•Ensure compliance by establishing, monitoring and delivering cost-savings performance measures
Education, Skills, and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree required in a quantitative business discipline, MBA preferred
•4-5+ years experience in a Procurement or Strategic Sourcing function
•Supply chain management expertise preferred
•Internal/external business consulting experience desired
•Demonstrated experience of leading stakeholders
•Demonstrated ability to exceed demands of various internal stakeholders across multiple business units
•Ability to make decisions based on cost/financial analysis
•Superior negotiation skills with an ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships with vendors
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Customer service orientation and client-centered focus
•Knowledge of best practices, procurement card, strategic alliances, supplier certification, etc.
•Knowledge of external market analysis to ensure best pricing/service mix
•Related industry experience procuring a diversified range of products and services
•Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to other office locations
