Technical Business Analyst
Q2 is seeking a Technical Business Analyst who is passionate about making a difference within the fintech industry. Working within the Product Team and Development Teams, the Technical Business Analyst is responsible creating and executing a roadmap of Core and LOS integrations for the Q2 Gro Sales Platform. The Technical Business Analyst will work with customers to define integration requirements to core systems, loan origination systems, and other key integrations that are strategic to the platform.
As a market leader in digital sales, the Q2 Gro team is responsible for the ongoing innovation and expansion of the Q2 Gro Checkout product. Q2 Gro’s intuitive digital sales platform provides an optimized user experience for tasks such as account opening and loan underwriting. Our mobile-first, streamlined account opening capabilities are proven to reduce abandonment and shorten the application process to under four minutes, helping our Financial Institutions clients to expand their reach through acquisition growth across digital channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with customers to define business requirements of new Core and LOS technical integrations
- Work with 3rd Party Vendors as required to obtain documentation, APIs, and requirements clarifications
- Synthesize APIs to create requirements and dataflows that bridge business requirements and technical requirements
- Document and communicate business requirements to the Q2 development teams
- Create and Maintain core documentation that both defines the scope and provides a mechanism for the FI to provide the inputs required to configure Core/LOS adapters
- Provide subject matter expertise to support the training teams in setting up integration adapters for customers
- Work with support teams to troubleshoot production issues as they relate to business requirements.
- Synthesize and manage multiple priorities initiatives and dependencies
- Evaluate changes to vendor APIs and assess impacts to existing customers
- Work effectively in agile development environment to plan sprints and ensure development matches requirements and business needs
- Ability to understand technical architecture of the product, impact of changes, and make decisions about and/or educate other product managers on details of trade-off
- Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- B.S. or B.A in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Communications or related field
- Technical Background to read and synthesize APIs
- Technical writing background a plus
- Minimum 2 years in financial services or e-commerce is preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with all level of employees
- Strong teamwork, organization, and problem resolution skills
- Excel and presentation skills
- Self-starter with proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistance is a must
